Well exactly, which made me wonder what the point of it was.

I know the mosque, it's en route from St Davids to SJP, the Islamic Centre has been there for as long as I can remember (in my youth I used to go to the Karate club next door), but is much more visible these days.

I used to go to that karate place for 8 years. Good times.

There is a growing muslim community in Exeter and a brand new mosque with minaret.

But the EDF (sorry, the EDL) is supposed to be against "radical" Islam, as opposed to the ordinary sort. How do they know that the Exeter Mosque is a radical one? Why are they marching here? Does the fact that the Muslim community is growing and their Mosque has a minaret make them radical?

Wouldn't it be simpler if they just came out and said "we hate Muslims" and have done with it?

you are entitled to say what you believe however there are certain statements and beliefs that are simply wrong and not good for the populace of the country. Support for the EDL, NF and BNP falls under this category.

Therein lies the problem, you can say what you like as long as it fits in to my very narrow view of what is acceptable, step outside of that and I am waiting around the corner to throw rocks at your head, good practice as it happens for when the Caliphate gets established here and the stonings begin.
