Editorship of "The Grecian"

I understand that overall control of "The Grecian" will no longer be in the hands of Mike Blackstone from next season. He will be contributing, possibly, up to 6 pages.

The decision would appear to be because of "economies" but this does seem a flawed reason. The end result must be an inferior product, thus fewer sales, thus lower income.

I think this appears to be the usual City ploy - see something making a profit, by someone else, so grab it - which is all well and good if the product stays as good or gets better !!

I believe the change started this season with the current programme being a joint effort between Pete and Mike, so assuming you are happy with this years format things are looking good ...

Given the fact that Mike has worked for such a long time for the club and produced such an outstanding product, leading to countless accolades, it would be hoped that he is agreement with this and hasn't just been shunted aside in a burst for short term expediency. If one less "Watson waste of space" means that the club's programme remains a standard setting publication then its a good investment in opinion.........
