Caldwell said after this game that we used tactics that we wouldn't apply to a league one game. I understand sticking to the possession based game plan and he considers that sticking to our identity, however when you can see that teams are letting you have the ball and just closing/defending the space so you can't create anything of meaning, surely changing it up and letting them have the ball for a while, as in this game, would be a good way to open up spaces and create chances?
