With you on sprouts though. In fact most veg. Never ate a single veg other than potato until i was 25 years old and 15 years on i'll eat tonnes of the things.

Personal experience re ghosts (honestly)
Hated "greens" - used to scrape them off my plate tgrough the dining room window into the garden when a little kid until mother cottoned on and gave me a thick ear. I still do it and my wife gives me a thick ear. That's how you get cauliflower ears.

In our military ration packs these were tinned and affectionately (?) known as " babies heads".

Wetherspoons do a decent version of these on the current menu........I often have one.
