Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Pete, I think terry means that the ground has been updated since the Google Earth images that are visible on line. I haven't looked but guess that is what it is as we have been given 800 tickets ourselves. Not sure why FG couldn't have said that instead of the sarcasm.

Dont go by what it states on wiki or any other source. I know they advertise they can take 3,000 + 350 seated, I say thats bulls**t by looking at the ground. Now I'm going for a slash and I'm off to bed!

EDIT: Rich, FG is a spuddling p***k who specialises in starting any argument he can find with me so that I'll get infraction points. I've got no time for him.

You're not 'looking at the ground', you ****ing idiot. You're looking at a photo from some years ago, since when, as Terry pointed out, the ground has been substantially upgraded.

So you think they are lying? Serious question.

I think the seat numbers are incorrect on wiki - there's 150 in main stand and 2 small separate stands with seats in which I think take the seated accommodation to 250.
There is a new standing only stand (only about 4 steps of concrete) right behind the Railway End of the ground which will accommodate a few hundred under a roof...I imagine if there is to be segregation then this might be the Exeter end (but I'm only guessing).
The other end of the ground is is named the Tellytubbie End the reason for which will become apparent when you get here!
I understand that subject to H&S advice and BT Sport requirements (space they need for their equipment etc) the estimated capacity on Sunday is likely to be 2800.
If that is allowed you are looking at roughly 2500 people standing pitchside which sounds a lot but we've hosted Reading in pre-season when a few more than that attended with no problems.

i'm pleased there's the option to pay on the day because I think that 2800 for noon on a Sunday which is live on TV is optimistic....but what do I know??!!

There's a discussion on social media, which is saying that we suggested to Didcot Town that they should charge £15 for a ticket. Why would we do that?

Presumably there will be segregation otherwise why tell us about "800 tickets"? No segregation would just mean everyone buying a ticket from Didcot as for a normal Didcot league game.

Braintree segregated the Harlow fans in the last round, provided them with their own entrance, food kiosk, toilets, etc. To be playing at the level they are they need to have a certian grading that will allow all the aove to happen

Well Didcot had to increase prices as their normal entry is below the minimum set by FA for this round (someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that)....This will have to have been agreed between clubs, in fact it always is before FA Cup/trophy/Vase competitions...I don't quite get what the problem is here. Didcot and Exeter have agreed a price which both clubs feel is reasonable both to the clubs themselves and to their supporters.

I'm biased of course but I felt the criticism levelled at DTFC on twitter last night unfair seeing as the club (like so many down the pyramid) has struggled to keep the front doors open in recent years and any revenue made out of this cup run will go straight back into the club and the community. DTFC is owned by its’ members (there is no rich chairman or share holders looking to make profit out of this).

Why should DTFC be embarrassed about trying to secure its’ future when the opportunity arrives? Ironically, the main criticism on twitter came from a Spurs fan who couldn’t see the irony in his defence of his chosen Premiership club, for example, upping it’s prices from Cat C to Cat A matches by almost 50% (all profits going to share holders) while castigating a tiny footy club wishing to earn a ‘quick buck’ (his words) and plough it back into running youth teams, perhaps help funding much needed training facility (building a 3g pitch), replacing floodlights that need fixing (list is endless).....

As for Exeter’s involvement in setting the prices, the fact that admission for all is exactly the same as was agreed with Warrington last year suggests to me that those who advise on these matters at ECFC thought that the admission was pitched roughly correct last time you played away at a small club live on TV.

I've been to Braintree and their ground is better than ours! But you're right, segregation is required which I suspect will result in a mobile food outlet thingy and temporary toilets at the railway end of the ground....

I agree.

There is indeed a minimum of £10 under FA Rules, and it's for the home club to decide the price, though I imagine they will have discussed this with us.

Immediately after the draw is known, the Club playing at home shall decide on the prices of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than concessions.
The away Club’s spectators can only be charged more than the home Club’s spectators if mutually agreed by both Clubs.
