Isn't it terribly ironic, reading this thread, to think of the comment Coles made about Phil Jagielka's performances, which set this all off.
Maybe there is karma?

At the tour of the Laranjeiras Stadium the day before the game DC looked a bit of loaner. He wondered around on his own in the Trophy Room and didn't seem part of the team unit. Would have been good to have taken some one else, but Hay Ho! He did win us the TUPI cup(smoke)If it was his choice then if he had any integrity he'd have gone before the jolly to Brazil rather than pretty much as soon as he got back. Still whatever regardless of who's choice it was it's good riddence to bad rubbish and a good deal for us all round.
On a personal level - agreed: The man is a liability and best shipped out however possible - but it's one less in the squad and at present he can't be replaced: The priority has top now be to get this loan cleared.... and Taggy was sounding very flaky about that being done quickly last week.Very good news to wake up to today!
A big thank you to Roy Hodgson for selecting jagielka to make this move for Danny possible....Isn't it terribly ironic, reading this thread, to think of the comment Coles made about Phil Jagielka's performances, which set this all off.
