Isn't it terribly ironic, reading this thread, to think of the comment Coles made about Phil Jagielka's performances, which set this all off.

Maybe there is karma?

If it was his choice then if he had any integrity he'd have gone before the jolly to Brazil rather than pretty much as soon as he got back. Still whatever regardless of who's choice it was it's good riddence to bad rubbish and a good deal for us all round.
At the tour of the Laranjeiras Stadium the day before the game DC looked a bit of loaner. He wondered around on his own in the Trophy Room and didn't seem part of the team unit. Would have been good to have taken some one else, but Hay Ho! He did win us the TUPI cup(smoke)

With Coles gone I feel confident another fans scapegoat will be found as soon as the season starts

On a personal level - agreed: The man is a liability and best shipped out however possible - but it's one less in the squad and at present he can't be replaced: The priority has top now be to get this loan cleared.... and Taggy was sounding very flaky about that being done quickly last week.

Coles has gone. I cannot help but be happy at this move. If FM 14 is to be believed he was one of our top earners at the club. Which potentially frees up the cash for a couple of signings.

We will sign Cummings, Riberio and Harley all early next week ;)

Although Exeter are under a transfer embargo, Tisdale wants to replace his former captain with Christian Ribeiro. The ex-Bristol City defender has been with the club on trial and is expected to sign when the embargo is lifted, hopefully before this month’s trip to Plymouth Argyle.

Lucky ol' Stroudy - now only a short trip up the hill to watch him play.
