A home supporter stood behind me on the terraces was heard to say what a good footballing side Exeter were, and he was right.

However, on days like today, simply playing good football does not always win games and you have to say for the vast majority of the tie City failed to find that all important Cup spark that Curzon had.
Sums up the article I would say Mike.

Unfortunately it was at the other end of the ground from where I was, so difficult to know exactly what it was for.

Bugger, I thought he had grown out of that and had become a much better player because of it.

That's what I heard on the commentary - plus they had said he was getting involved in something earlier when he should have walked away.
