A pal just sent me this which some Exiles might be interested in attending, read on:
An early date for your diaries for any Yeovil Town fans either based in, or passing through London and the South-East. The Capital Glovers are planning a fund-raising night in aid of the two Adam Stansfield funds. Obviously any Exeter City or Hereford United supporters in the area who want to come and join them for the night will be made very welcome (subject to a touch of banter!)
At present we just have the date and time of the event - November 11th 2010 from 7.30p.m. - and the location; The Blue Anchor in Chancery Lane, London, EC4A 1HL. However, we're putting out an advance warning to try to ensure everyone has their social lives clear for one evening only. Special guest will be former Yeovil Town left-back Murray Fishlock, who like Adam also played for Hereford United. Murray now works for the Football Foundation in London, and will be joining the cause. Journalists Matt Scott and Andy Brassell will also be joining us for the evening.
If you're a Hereford or an Exeter fan who is only an occasional visitor to Ciderspace but want to be kept informed of more firmed up plans for this, drop an email to [email protected] and we'll let you know of updates as the schedule for the evening takes shape. Alternatively, there is a Facebook Event Page that you can subscribe to. Other football fans wishing to join the cause, are similarly welcome.
Address: The Blue Anchor, Rolls Passage, off Chancery Lane, The City, London, EC4A 1HL.
