Can any team match us with Tilson and Watkins scoring today that makes 16 different goal scorers this season.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Could be a good shout. Can't think it happens very often. We have done much better in front of goal so far than I thought we would do in the summer, and we still miss quite a number of chances.

Presuming that number is correct (and I have no reason to think it isn't) that is an amazing statistic in the first week in December.

No doubt, it's helpful that everyone is contributing. However, it does highlight the lack of a regular goal scorer, someone who gets 15 + a year. If we had one to rely on we would be challenging at the top.

You mean, like the two players we currently on seven apiece a few games short of halfway through the season, one of whom scored 15 last season?

You beat me to it,you can't win with some if we had one player scoring most of our goals it would who's going to get the goals if he's out for a long spell.

That's my next argument - I'd rather have 16 players scoring 5 apiece than one player scoring all the goals then breaking his leg in December.

tom nichols despite not having the best first half of the season and spending a fair bit of time on the bench still seems to get a respectable amount of goals. His minutes to goal ratio is probably still pretty solid.
