Home results over the last 6 seasons where we lost by 2 goals or more - just the 10.

Code:
05.10.2004 Barnet L0-3
03.12.2005 Canvey Island L0-2
30.01.2006 Accrington S L1-3
18.02.2006 York City L1-3
14.03.2006 Stevenage L0-2
20.01.2007 Ebbsfleet Utd L1-3
17.11.2007 Burton Albion L1-4
28.10.2008 Chesterfield L1-6
28.12.2008 Brentford L0-2
10.03.2009 Bournemouth L1-3
Will take longer to find games where we were 2 or more down and got a point or 3. Rare it would seem.

Typical I was at all of them. I remember the York one coz I got in bout 5 mins late and had no idea we had already scored and left thinking we lost 3-0 til I saw it on the tele later.

And Ebbsfleet was a particular low, chucking it down with rain IIRC and 3-0 down at halftime, all kicking off in the BB coz people were booing and then the 'happy-clappers' were saying we shouldn't boo etc. All fun & games.

I've looked for potential fight backs since being in the Conference, home games only. These are the results where the opposition have scored 2 or more goals, and we have either drawn or won them. Looks like only the Crawley game (as mentioned on here before) is where we have gone 2 or more goals down and got the points.

Code:
04.09.2004 Crawley Town W3-2 2-0 down after 23 minutes.
25.09.2004 Tamworth D2-2 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2
08.10.2005 Halifax Town W4-2 0-1, 1-1, 1-2 ,2-2, 3-2, 4-2
19.09.2006 St Albans City W4-2 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 4-2
09.12.2006 Dag & Redb'ge W3-2 0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2
18.09.2007 Forest Green D3-3 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3
09.10.2007 Salisbury City W4-2 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 4-2
20.10.2007 Rushden & D D2-2 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2
26.12.2007 Torquay United W4-3 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3
12.02.2008 Woking D2-2 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2
20.09.2008 Notts County D2-2 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2
14.02.2009 Aldershot Town W3-2 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 3-2
25.04.2009 Morecambe D2-2 0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2

For me it was the Burton home game. Had bought my 2 children for their first visit to SJP, hospitality and all.

I am a fan of David Noble, and I think he will prove to be an extremely valuable player over the course of the season. However, on Saturday I thought he was generally sloppy and, with the exception of some occasionally superb ball-playing, ineffective.

I will be watching him very closely on Saturday, because he needs to sharpen up.
At times he just didn't look like his head was in it, which I guess was understandable. Plus it seemed to take him a while to calm down after his yelling at Jonesy. Bit of a Jekyll and Hyde performance I think.

I think I'm just happiest that we kept going and played our way back into the game.

Just wanted to emphasise this last bit. We PLAYED our way back into the game really well. Considering the numerical disadvantage I thought we had a fair amount of control over the game and the move that sent Dunne away to earn the penalty was excellent.
