Speaking of Matt Groening.

Futurama, the Time Travel/Roswell episode. Pure genius.

Spaced - Mettle (The robot wars/Cuckoo's Nest one)
Perfection from start to finish. The casting in the Cuckoo's Nest parody scene is amazing.

'They're all writers, Daisy' :D

I think my favourite exchange is:

D: What’s that?

M: It’s an axe

D: It’s a bit dangerous isn’t it?

M: Yeah.

T: Don’t worry, Daisy, Mike knows exactly what he’s doing.

*cuts to Tim and Mike covered in plasters*

T: I think we should lose the axe.

M: I like the axe.

T: I like my face.

M: I like your face.

T: let’s keep the axe.

There's nothing more devastating than a big chopper.

Shhh, don't cheapen this...

(Mike walks in)

What's wrong with Mike?

Oh, he normally likes to be Phillipa.

The bit at the end when Daisy offers the 'Chief' a stick of Juicy Fruit made me giggle like a school girl. I love film references, me.
