it could also be the case that the higher up the leagues you go, and the larger the club in question is, the more money they get from TV, consolidation payments, or sponsorship (in the case of Blackburn, Venky's are no doubt still putting in plenty of money), means those clubs are less reliant on gate receipts to make ends meet and can perhaps afford to offer their supporters cheaper match tickets.League 2 football is a bloody rip off given the quality on show sometimes - went to watch Blackburn a couple weeks ago in the division above in a far superior stadium with a better standard of player and paid £4 less sat down than what it costs to stand on the big bank
I would like to think that if ECFC ever found itself in the situation that it didn't need to charge £16 a ticket for the BB, then as a community club, it would consider charging less.
