Genuinely nice people....the Bristows.

Simple, down to earth couple who prefer to stay in the background but have quietly supported the club very generously.

They got lucky and so did we.....

Always thought Bateson did a brilliant job with Torquay, could never understand why Torquay fans seemed to hate him so much.

Now it's back to square one with fans still seeming to hate him and looking for a new richer sugar daddy to take them to European glory.

I thought Bateson would do a Doble and take the club back and give it to the fans, trouble is that the fans are so wet that they seemed to have ditched all ideas about forming a trust preferring to remain an owned club. Well that will be their funeral!
