Is it urban myth or FACT that The Who had to turn down the volume because they were actually bursting eardrums when playing indoor venues? I strongly suspect the former but I have heard the story many times and from many people.....

Wasn't the concert at The Valley measured at 120 decibels so inside it's quite beilievable

pink floyd aswell , going to see the tribute band 'great gig in the sky' at Axminster guildhall on friday 3rd july not quite the same but will be a quality night though
