1) Best away day despite the football - Pompey
2) Best away day because of the football - Northampton Town. Last minute winner is always good.
3) Best home fans. Pompey
4) Best ground and facilities. Nothing stands out.
5) Worse ground and facilities. Pompey.
6) Worse stewarding/policing. Newport for stewarding, Hartlepool for policing.
7) Best pie. Bury.

Didn't get to as many as I'd of liked to Hants, but enjoyed Torquay, had a few beers in Babbacombe with lots of old mates, sat in their bit behind the goal giving an excellent view of the Nicholls strike, enjoyed their excellent half time bar at the back of the stand..........on the other hand getting absolutely drenched at that freak rain storm at Wimbledon, and watching us miss sitters was definitely the other end of the spectrum......extremely gutted I could not get time off work to go Plimuff away either......bloody Tuesday nights !!

Assuming this relates to this season only...

1) Best away day despite the football - Portsmouth
2) Best away day because of the football - Plym**th
3) Best home fans - Portsmouth
4) Best ground - Portsmouth (I liked its 80s charm)
and facilities - Plym**th (it had a bar with decent beer under the away end)
5) Worse ground - Plym**th. Completely soulless.
and facilities - Portsmouth
6) Worse stewarding/policing - n/a
7) Best pie - had an awful burger at Plainmoor, as I do every season. I'll never learn.
8) I wish I'd gone, but didn't - Southend looked like fun.
9) I really wish I hadn't gone - n/a
10) Best pub - The Shepherds Crook, Portsmouth

Prize for anyone who can guess how many away games I made it to this season.

I did have 2 other questions, but rejected them. Most hurt by the weather - AFC Wimbledon. Wettest - Accy. I had a kagool with me at Accrington, I've no idea why I didn't put it on when the rain first started!

So, on those away days what are your thoughts on

1) Best away day despite the football - Pompey for the numbers.
2) Best away day because of the football - Argyle of course! Apart from that, Southend, for the 2 late goals. Hartlepool was pretty good too.
3) Best home fans - Pompey
4) Best ground and facilities - Chesterfield or Burton (enclosed bar with live feed of the game on the screen). The bar at Newport was excellent, if a little expensive.
5) Worse ground and facilities - Accrington. And it ****ed down!
6) Worse stewarding/policing - Newport! The stewards used to work at Auschwitz.
7) Best pie - Can't remember.
8) I wish I'd gone, but didn't - Northampton. One of only 2 that I missed and the other was Morecambe, so . . .
9) I really wish I hadn't gone - I never wished I hadn't gone but Wimbledon was the worst for me. The officiating was shocking and that biblical storm nearly did for me. Enjoyed the Prince of Wales pub though.
10) Best pub - The Berkeley at Scunthorpe sticks out - £2.08 for a pint! Best barmaid was at the Cemetery in Rochdale.
