Where's the best pubs for away fans redman?
Traditional away pub is The Arkles at the back of the Anfield Road End. Exeter fans will be welcome on most pubs near the ground. For those staying over and making a day of it, try Concert Square in the city centre

Good evening Redman, if I end up driving is it best to try and park near the ground or is it better to park in the City and bus it ?

If you are looking at a sharp exit then park up on the East / South East side of the ground and walk to the stadium. Watch out for the residents only parking which applies on midweek matches near the ground (signs and markings on the road and keen wardens). Best bet is to park up shortly after 6pm on one of the many single yellow lines (8-6pm restrictions) and there is some non-restricted parking. If you try and park up after 7pm you will struggle and face a long walk. It is about a 45 minute walk back to the City Centre and transport is crap. Unfortunately no rail station near the ground.

They could ask the local kids to keep an eye out for their car for a couple of quid :D

Park at Sandhills station, (free parking) and you can get the soccerbus. £1.60

The soccerbus runs up to 45 mins after the match, they have removed some of the drop offs, due to the expansion plans.

Linky thing here.

I have parked at Goodison before and walked over Stanley Park. If they still open the car park for LFC home matches you need to be early as theres not too many spaces but security is in place. Its my intention to try there first.

So for me, the website is showing as 124 and 125 (more or less) sold out. How many people you recon have chose these blocks to be "part of it" without actually contributing?
