Artur's penalty save

As a former member of the G/K's union I'd say it was a good save, but not as good as some of the early reports suggested (high to the keeper's left etc). If truth be told, it was a weak penalty placed too close to the keeper and at a nice height: Artur's problem was more the risk that he would go too far as opposed to not reaching the ball. Still a penalty save is a penalty save, and one can't knock success.

Rather surprised that Pate hasn't had the good grace to retract his earlier (and now provenly incorrect) assumption - even if its only to replace it with a new one asserting with equal arrogance that Artur was now, in fact, two yards BEHIND the line when he saved it, and hence the goal should have been given.

In Pete's defense, Artur may have saved a penalty, kept a clean sheet, gathered his crosses, instilled confidence in the back four and generally not put a foot wrong, but what else did he do?
