Not sure I've ever seen him play but everything I've read about Archie Collins has led me to believe that he's an attacking midfielder/shadow striker/inside forward. Which means I'd be very surprised for him to take his place in a back four.
You were right....he played in an an attacking midfield role. The right back spot that I couldn’t work out who was a natural from the existing squad, was filled from outside the squad by triallist Oates ( good to see that gap for another right back is being sorted)

Bright future for Collins, methinks.
