Was unaware that Foxy is Wednesday's youngest ever debutant at 15 years of age, or that we had won on our last visit to Hillsborough!!

Some interesting snippets, thanks for sharing them.

This needs updated:

Previous Clashes

This will be only the 4th ever clash between the two sides at Hillsborough with the Owls edging the honours two wins to one but the Grecians did win on their last visit to Hillsborough and are unbeaten in four against Wednesday.

The last meeting came over 31 years ago when a solitary goal for Exeter saw them win 1-0 at Hillsborough just a couple of weeks before our famous Boxing Day massacre of the Blades.

The season prior to that the Owls ran out 2-1 winners in front of a crowd of just over 11k, goals from Brian Hornsby and John Lowey were enough for Jack Charlton’s men. It was the same score line again in January 1978 as the owls grabbed a vital two points thanks to Rodger Wylde and Dave Rushbury netted for Wednesday.

Very perceptive last line about our manager

'injuries forced an early retirement but he is still registered to play if needed'

You heard it there first!
