In reality this means 5 wins and the draws will take care of themselves. I can't see any other permutation as giving us the necessary points. So we have 5 must win games. We can do it but it won't be through anything less than sheer guts and determination plus the inevitable run of good fortune with refs,posts,bars,og's etc.

To date we have managed less than 1 point per game - still waiting for the upward change in form required to achieve even 18/13 or 19/14 - 5 wins, 3 draws, 5 defeats? have not played that well for some time now, so in reality how can you expect it!! Probability is 3,5,7, respectively, 14 points.

Correction, sorry that should be 3,5,6, lost to Stockport - a so called banker 3 points!!
Looked at in isolation, that (needing 18 from 14) may look tough, but other teams also have to achieve similar targets:
First discount Stockport (15 from 29) and Wycombe (21 from 13), because if we can't stay ahead of them, then we are stuffed anyway.
So we need to compare favourably with two of the following on the run in:
Southend 17 from 14;
Tranmere 15 from 14;
Gillingham 15 from 13;
Oldham 17 from 16;
Brighton 15 from 14;
Hartlepool 14 from 14;
and who's to say we won't......

Its all much of a muchness looking at Ian's list. There are still so many 6 pointers that anything could happen, but of course we really need to win some of those six pointers. Losing them is no real option at all.
