Oh dear no... City seem to be lurching from good to poor game by game. Am concerned by lack of consistently effective strike force at this level. And if City the teams below us continue to average 1 point per game, then we'll be in the relegation zone in a month.
Agreed, but I think a striker is more crucial - after all, you don't win matches just by preventing the opposition scoring. We need to be getting goals... and missing a penalty at that point in today's match is very poor indeed.
Quite simply we don't have anyone in the squad capable of consistent scoring. A striker is a must ASAP. And get shot of Fleetwood even sooner. He just doesn't cut it at this level.
