It usually happens with players who have injuries. Argyle's retained list shows them offering extended scholarships to three players who had injury problems through last season. Maybe City might do the same with Sam Joce and Scott Simmons. Simmons looked a real prospect in last season's FA Youth...
Tom Dean shown as the only scholar offered a pro contract. Does that mean no deals for Alfie Cunningham, Sam Joce, Scott Simmons & Stanford Daniels? Presumably all the first year pro’s apart from King and O’Connor were given 2 year contracts last summer.
Look more closely and then add on the players shown on the options exercised list. They finished the season with 38 players under contract (plus 4 expensive looking loanees). Only eleven plus the loanees are leaving. With one scholar offered a pro contract they already have 27 players under...
When I first came on the forum I responded to Pete’s comments. After a while you realise he’s just winding people up, borderline trolling, you learn to take his posts as comedy. I’m surprised that after more than 3 years on the forum you’ve allowed yourself to be whooshed by him. Why on earth...

We don’t, but the club does, because as pointed out a couple of times already, the EFL tells them. The only way we will know is if the club gives a definitive correct statement or if the EFL produced table gets leaked to the press as happened a few seasons ago.
The reason why people (both pro Trust and pro private) are struggling to believe City are second bottom is because the club chairman said otherwise. This discussion is also about struggling to understand why different senior people at the club can give completely different stories to where the...
