You should know better then mate. I just don't see why it's cool to knock the Devon accent. You wouldn't get West Ham fans mocking Millwall fans for sounding too c*ckney now would you.
Maybe it's a bit of a cliche , mate. But in my experience Torquay's the sort of place where people want to move/escape to make a new start, and then they quickly realise that unfortunately their problems don't miraculously disappear as soon as they set foot in the English Riveria.
