I'm a fan of his and would happy to sign him on say a 6 month deal (Doubt he would take that though). Wouldn't want to be stuck with him for a year if it doesn't work out.

And as mentioned before it is a different situation than Stewart, Cureton doesn't need to be young and quick to do what he does - He is a 'fox-in-the-box' striker just there to finish any chances off.

Personally not sure we need him and should be looking for more pace up top.

We need a target man type striker, we don't have a forward who is good in the air or strong, we also need some more pace or is that role to be fulfilled by Norwood ?

We were in for him in January. Wages stopped it. He was the championship golden boot winner only 3? years back, is an awesome predator. He wasn't fancied by Lambert, but his ratio at Norwich was still better than any of our current strikers. His spell at Shrewsbury was during a period when the team were in diabolical form. He has avoided injury, and has never been very mobile.

I watched him a lot at Reading, an absolute legend there, and he scored a hatful at Colchester, and has hit the net everywhere he has been. A fantastic signing for a year, but only if we provide balls into the box. Otherwise he is totally wrong for us, as he won't go looking for it. If we do play anywhere near his strengths, without paying a fee, this is the best chance we have of getting a genuine 20 goal a season striker.
