He was a legend, His shows through the years had real stars on them, Unlike today, if you're on a reality show that's enough and you're considered "Famous", Of course his interview with Rod Hull and Emu was legendary. RIP

Indeed, and it's sad that in recent years he had been called into question in light of metoo and other such movements. It was less about him and more about the times - it's just the way things were. And happier times they were too.

Growing up in Exeter a near neighbour was a childhood pal of "Micky Parky" as he was known up in Cudworth, and often talked fondly of him. A good man was Micky Parky, RiP.
