Tisdale in January Manager of the Month Nomination

In a busy month for Exeter City and manager Paul Tisdale, he sees his name put forward as a contender for January’s manager of the month.

January saw the Grecians hold Premier League side Liverpool to a 2-2 draw in front of a packed St James Park and many millions watching live on TV. Though Paul Tisdale’s side lost the replay 3-2 at Anfield and live on TV he did get many plaudits.

Exeter’s record in League 2 also showed a remarkable improvement on December, taking 10 points from a possible 15, the only blot on his copybook being the 2-1 defeat at St James Park by Dagenham and Redbridge.

He will contest the award against fellow nominees Darren Way (Yeovil Town), Chris Wilder (Northampton Town) and Neal Ardley (AFC Wimbledon).

A decision will be made on Friday 5 February on Sky Sports.
