FA Cup 2014/15: Fourth Round Preview

This weekend is the fourth round of the FA Cup, with six ties being televised live. Winners will get £90,000 and  TV fee for a live game is £72,000 per club. The draw for the FA Cup fifth-round, and will be shown live on Monday 26th January on The One Show on BBC1 which starts at 7pm.

Tonight sees the lowest club in the 4th round take on the might of Man Utd. Leaguecambridge_exeter_thumb 2 Cambridge United have the Salford Reds at the Abbey Stadium and will be shown live on BBC1. Louis Van Gaal will be hoping to avoid embarrassment but will be making some changes to his line-up. The U’s, who were promoted from the Conference at the end of last season, have the belief that an upset is on the cards,

On Saturday, the game of interest will be Chelsea v Bradford City. The League 2 side have a good cup pedigree under Karl Pilkinson, but a trip to in-form Chelsea ref_andy_hainesshould be too much for the Bantams.

Sunday’s game to watch will be Bristol City taking on  West Ham United at Ashton Gate. Live on BBC 1 there could be a good opportunity to see some giant-killing.

The last tie of the 4th round takes place on Monday night and will be shown live on BT Sport. League 1 side Rochdale take on Stoke City at SpotlandsSpotlands, Rochdale. Premiership side Stoke won’t be relishing the trip to this small ground, and there should be a result for Rochdale.

The Fifth round ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday 14 February 2015.
