Crowdfunding for Burton Match Sponsorship Surpassing Targets
With no match sponsor organised for the re-arranged Burton Albion game, the Trust has looked for supporters to take on that role via a crowdfunding exercise which will also give supporters an opportunity to be involved on Saturday 6th December.
The deal is that Supporter Sponsors pay (a minimum) of £5 per head. In one week the total raised has surpassed the first target of £1250, and at an overnight total of £1641 looks likely to pass the next target of £1750. Additionally, some fans have offered to pay once more in to the fund if the total has goes passed £2000.
Supporter Sponsors will automatically be entered into a draw with a chance to win one of the following prizes:
- A signed City shirt
- Supporter Sponsor Director for the day + guest
- 2 Sponsors on the pitch for photos at kick off
- 2 Sponsors to nominate the Man of the Match & present him with Champagne after the game.
- A copy of the ‘Have You Ever Played Brazil?’ book signed by Christy Pym & Matt Grimes.
Names of Supporter sponsors will be listed in a subsequent programme & on a roll of honour on the Trust website and all Supporter Sponsors will be invited onto the pitch at the end of the game, so a photo can be taken for posterity.
The deadline for the draw will be 10.00am on Wednesday 3rd December.
You can pay, online via the Supporters Club at: www.exetercitysupportersclub.com, or you can pop in to the St James’ Park Reception.
