Alex Nicholls Signs on Loan for the Grecians

As expected, Northampton Town’s Alex Nicholls has joined Exeter City on loan. He’ll wear the Number 23 shirt and will be eligible to feature in Exeter City’s home game against Mansfield Town

The Club have issued the following press release

The 26-year-old forward joined the Cobblers from Walsall in 2012, and was in a rich vein of goalscoring form at Sixfields before an unfortunate leg-break against Port Vale.

After a long period of rehabilitation and a full pre-season ahead of 2014/15, Nicholls made a return to competitive action recently as Northampton visited AFC Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup.

Alex will be eligible to turn out for the Grecians for the first time this coming weekend as Mansfield Town visit St James Park on Saturday.

Nicholls will wear the number 23 shirt for Exeter City.
