Former Exeter Midfielder Departs Tiverton Town

Tiverton Town have confirmed that the former Grecians midfielder, Bertie Cozic has left the club. Manager John Clarkson felt that having been away from the game for 2 years he had little to offer. Clarkson on Cozic said:-

He has had two years out and it was a big ask. In hindsight, I think the people that recommended him to me saw him two years ago, they didn’t see him after two years.  You can’t stop playing for two years, get back into it and be like you were before. It just doesn’t work.

He didn’t give us anything so we are not going to miss him. You can’t play, even in pre-season, in the middle of the park and decide to have a 10-minute break.
