Training with the Exeter City Players
On Wednesday 28th July about 30 members arrived at
the Cat & Fiddle Training Ground for a training session with the City
players.
The session started with a gentle run around the ground to loosen up
and was followed by stretching exercises. Various pieces of training equipment
had been set up for the Red Army members to use, supervised by the players,
and this was followed by ball practice.
After the training session the members watched Eamonn and the players
hold a training game of football after which the members were able to
chat to the players and get autographs.
Everyone had a really enjoyable time and the feedback was very positive.
A 'Thank You' card has been sent to Eamonn and the players on behalf
of the Red Army members who attended the training session.
