The role is public, health is private. Up to the individual to share details - same for all of us.

Were it so simple.
The near constant public scrutiny of the tax payer funded RF requires IMO a basic level of honesty if its to retain public confidence in 21st Century Britain. Keeping a serious illness a secret from the public you can get away with when it comes to 95yo+ woman as you can just say she’s old and gets tired easily and needs to cut back on her public duties.
It’s slightly more complicated when it’s comes to this King as he’s 20 odd years younger and any serious illness may become obvious via his physical appearance and his ability to carry out his public duties.
Telling the public only half the story on the King’s health is all a bit 20th century for me.

It's democracy isn't it, Tavy style? The public pay for the monarchy, the public want to know every last detail of the monarch's health, therefore the public should be told. Simples...

Well yeah, if we’re going to have an arcane system of government that has an unelected tax payer funded head of state (and his family) in place, then his ar$e belongs to me I’m afraid! 😜

Why dont the monarchy form a trust? That way they dont have to tell the public what they discussed in part b?😃

So, to paraphrase the BBC puff piece below, ***puts on Sir David Attenborough parody voice*** "...because of the unique way the monarchy is funded... King Charles III's arse belongs... to all of us"

I wonder if Tavares is possibly suggesting that even KC3's actual prostate exam should have been "livescreened" on our public broadcasting network?
After all he is, apparently, "our property" 🙄
(Although Jigzy might disagree and insist that the exclusive rights be subscribed to Netflix and the like for the delectation of the "self-elected few."

PH is visiting his father since the King's diagnoses. Looking at the photos on the BBC News website, PH was in a convoy of two Range Rovers, Which i guess is for security, Wasn't one of his claims in court about not getting security if coming to the UK? I personally have no problem with him having it and this shows that when he visits the UK he will get security, Plus able to go through an airport privately too. At least he's seeing his father at a concerning time though.
