It didn't, it looked about 25 short and we plodded through at the same run rate throughout. Not good enough with the bat, not good enough with the ball. Will need to improve both dramatically to get results against Sri Lanka and South Africa.

We've got good enough batsman - but our bowling options in Twenty20 are poor - Chris Jordan ? Good fielder granted but his bowling isn't international standard

Jordan , topley and Willey ? None of them for me are international quality

How Broad isn't in there is unbelievable

England are getting murdered! 83 without loss for South Africa off of 6 overs. This is miserable listening.
