And there's the truth of it all. For all people like Moxey saying they can't see where it's going to change, it's there in black and white. There will come a point and very, very soon where Tis is going to run of ageing pro's that he knows to call on. It's nothing more difficult than putting a team out from that squad minus the over 35's of round pegs in rounds holes.

I could understand some of the fringe players being debatable but Baldwin, manc? Really???? (Unless his injury has buggered him totally and you're in no position know that any better than I am).

He's 32 and no better than Bennett or JMT in that position. We should be starting next season with a quick, tall centre back alongside JMT. No point in having Baldwin as a squad player.

A CB should offer a threat at set pieces at the attacking end as well. Baldwin doesn't and is average at best. Should be able to do much better than that.

An experienced centre back should be able to defend resolutely and organise those around to form a solid unit, it's something we currently miss at the moment. A centre back who can score a few at the other end is an added bonus. You didn't see Danny Seaborne score many or for far better example (as far as ability goes), how many times did you see Des Walker score? His goals were legendary they were that few and far between. You would have got rid of him because he didn't score despite the fact 'you'll never beat Des Walker'? Stop talking garbage man.

You don't necessarily have to score to be a threat. Presence can be enough to create room for others.
