So it's not a total tourist trap then???

I did go the Hound of the Baskervilles pub in Okehampton which was quite weird.... lots of memorabilia from various films Inc a poster in Finnish for a version of the story starring Dudley Moore!!!

The students will love it - but I'm not convinced they will love it enough to keep it afloat. I feel bad saying it but I think it will struggle to make any money unless it changes a few things.

The Coal grill and bar, Swindon. 2 x pints of Amstel.

I don't know about the branch in Exeter, but here in Swindon they surreptitiously add a service charge. My brother in law who picked up the tab asked for it to be removed. a reasonable tip was left in it's place.

Not a pub.
Certainly not a gastro-pub, although it is better than the Pinhoe Hoard. Problem with these new built pub is that the template seems to come from Ikea.

Slumming at the Savoy (Swindon) this morning. No beer involved only eggs benedict and a coffee latte.
