Wall of Fame, Victoria street, Liverpool.
Run by an acquaintance originally from Bridgwater.
Does good acoustic nights but as it's on the same street as the Cavern-( The original was demolished a while back!)- music is quite important.
The whole centre of Liverpool seems to have undergone a huge transformation since i was last there.

You got in? I assume you weren't in colours, they weren't letting away fans in after the match, which caused quite a lot of consternation.

Yep, I "casually" strolled in as there was some consternation going on outside. One chap had a heated debate with the doorman before deciding against it whilst another had a disagreement with a local who insulted him in a bizarre scouse fashion

I know an Exile mate got into a "heated debate" with the doorman while we were congregated outside - my car load and I had agreed to meet outside the pub after the match as we were seated in different blocks. Might have been him! He already had something of a cob on after discovering what he believed to be a handful of Scousers in our block towards the end of the match.

Winslow Hotel opposite Goodison Park yesterday. Top afternoon too, they laid on sossy rolls and sandwiches for us - top work by exExwebber Papillon for organising it all.
