Went to the Half Moon Inn in Clyst St Mary a few weeks back. Food not the best. Won't be returning.

Anyway. As an outsider. Is Clyst pronounced CLIST or CLYST? I've always said CLIST.

CLIST is correct.
Not to be confused with C-List St Mary as seen on "I'm A Select Beatus - Get Me Out Of Here"

A very enjoyable NYE spent downing pints of Citra in the Old Firehouse, following on at 2am to the Angel to attack the Otter !

The Acorn, Bicester, Oxon.

Quick pint before visiting the "Bicester (designer outlet) Village" and purchasing an 'Arctic Parka' £375.00 reduced to £99. Very pleased with it. 👌

In my Japanese cotton cords.
Had lunch at The Bedford Hotel in Tavistock today.

The average age of the lunchtime punters must have been about 80 so the soup of the day seemed very popular.

Not an establishment where I would expect you to rock up Lionel. Any particular reason, and what did you make of the ales and foodage ? Info welcome please.

Swanny's favourite pub ever. FCAT.

I think we're due another visit soon.
I was in there earlier. The stench of man wee was a little unnerving.

Two excellent pints of porter were supped. Prices seem to have skyrocketed in recent times, getting on for four quid a pint is fecking dire.
