Surprised how disappointed people were/are that we couldn’t keep him. I never really saw anything in him that made me think he was a top league two player, certainly not better than Sparkes.
Good previous record and probably had more to show, but from what we actually saw from him I can’t say he is much of a loss.

I think being able to rotate Sparkes and Dickenson throughout the season would have given us a formidable left side.
