That was good business. Bradford must be confident he will regain his fitness.
If so we should have kept him.

Disappointed to lose him on a free, but didn’t really expect Bradford to put money up. GC saying that it was about giving him the opportunity to play games suggest he must have been nearly ready to go?

A fantastic player and character. Really sorry we couldn't count on his fitness. But if he had remained fit, we wouldn't have been able to hold on to him for long, he'd be snapped up by a Championship club at the first opportunity. Good luck, thanks for all you've done for us and all the best.....

Good for both parties. Guess a move closer to home was always on the cards.

Stubbs was great for us when fit but that was the crux of the matter, His fittness, He'll always be remembered for the 2nd half of last season but as a piece of buisness i think it works for both parties, He may go on to and get fit but on the other hand he may be on the Bradford treatment table most of the time, We're not a club that can afford to carry players, Having a player for half a season at most is not great plus L1 is a lot tougher than L2. Thanks for everything Sam, Good luck and you'll always have a place in our hearts for what you did last season.

Pity we didn't get at least some money from the move after all we invested in him. Anyhow good luck Stubbs, you were great when you got on the pitch.

I think the other thing is how tough its been for Sam being out injured and so far away from family and support networks. A very lonely existence ands GC says, he's out of contract in the summers would move then anyway.

Leaves us a bit short at centre half again though methinks if we get injury issues.
