I presume we’ve saved half a season’s wage by Sam leaving, someone who was unlikely to play much and essentially given it for half a season to someone who is likely to play quite a bit.
Makes sense to me.
Plus if all goes well, as we’re likely only to have Harry Kite left of this season’s midfield come the summer, maybe we may consider offering Kevin another year then?

.....and at 6' 4" someone to get on the end of corners and long throws. Welcome Kevin.

Caldwell appears to aiming for 3 in centre midfield.Only until the end of the season so at 34 giving us the depth we have been missing in the first half of the season.Had a good reputation before his illness.

I guess if he gets on well then we'll offer him a new deal. If he's looked after himself then 34 is no age. He's played premier league and international football, and should be a really good influence around our young squad. It's an improved Dieng.

McDonald rightly points out that we have the youngest team he's ever seen. Without him our oldest central midfield player is 23 - Collins Kite Harper White and Chauke
