But this isn't some kid being offered a life-changing sum of money and not knowing if he'll ever get the opportunity again. This isn't even someone like Jevani in their late 20's being offered one last chance to earn some decent money. This is someone who is 34 and has presumably already made a decent amount of money out of the game and whose personal circumstances mean that quality of life, the promise of regular football and the chance to develop his post-playing career may be more important than making as much money as possible.The age old problem still exists however, finance. At the end of the day, no matter what we can offer him in terms of game time, environment etc, if other clubs come in offering far better terms then his decision can end up being based on family finances.
