The age old problem still exists however, finance. At the end of the day, no matter what we can offer him in terms of game time, environment etc, if other clubs come in offering far better terms then his decision can end up being based on family finances.
But this isn't some kid being offered a life-changing sum of money and not knowing if he'll ever get the opportunity again. This isn't even someone like Jevani in their late 20's being offered one last chance to earn some decent money. This is someone who is 34 and has presumably already made a decent amount of money out of the game and whose personal circumstances mean that quality of life, the promise of regular football and the chance to develop his post-playing career may be more important than making as much money as possible.

We could offer a coaching role and to pay for the cost of his badges etc? Maybe not so much upfront but we'll be investing in a future for him once his playing days are over... which probably isn't far off now.
According to the Daily Mirror he already has most of his badges.

Acute observations about Jay S from McD. He does need a goal, even a scruffy bounce-off-your-backside Bowmanesque one.

Kevin McDonald featured on the latest EFL Podcast with Mark Clemmit, mostly discussing his transplant.
Good luck to the guy, fighting back from a life a changing operation. Looks like his agent could be doing a good job by putting his name out there. I'd rather he stay under the radar and do a great job for us next season as well. It may be his spell at ECFC is just an opportunity for him to appear in the shop window

One thing he did mention was that his family are coming to Devon to live with him, make of that what you will.
