It was suggested costs were 1 million plus each side. Not sure how much of the Rooney legal tab will be picked up by Vardy.

As you say: what the feck was the point ?
That would just be the start of it however. Absolute loss of reputation is another thing. Any future celeb appearances or tie-ins are now shot for Vardy. She'll be totally reliant on her husband from here on in.

As for the Rooney's, I imagine they think it's the best money they ever spent.

I dunno Jinxy.

We British love a villain. Might Rebekah still have a lot of media appeal ?

Shrek was none too pleased when the gory details of his extra marital infidelities were brought out in court. The report I read was that he turned puce and looked to the ceiling during that part of the trial :ROFLMAO:

And the flagrant 'bekka' the next Inspector Clouseau?
With poor old Jamie as the hapless Chief Inspector Dreyfuss?
And Wayne bouncing in as Kato?

Oh, and no wonder that Mr Rooney has skiddadled across the pond from EFL drudgery.
He was probably worried that an unlucky cup draw at Brisbane Road might have ended with murder on the Orient express.

She would say that wouldn’t she as a deluded narcissist.

Wonder if she will persuade rat face to fund a hopeless appeal ?

I'm genuinely puzzled how this got to court, and the high court at that

Rooney posted something that only Vardy could see and that appears in a newspaper. I believe she did this twice to make sure she was right. How can Vardy then argue that it wasnt her that gave it to the paper? Madness

Bearing in mind Vardy's football career is coming to an end so unless he's been sensible with his earnt money and made some shrewd investments Mrs Vardy might have to tighten the old belt, She's seems to spend it like there's no tomorrow and tbh what does she do?
