Couple of things watched over the weekend on Amazon, Firstly the final two episodes of the final series of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel which was really good throughout and secondly the first episode of the second series of Oh Cook! with James May attempting to cook various meals, Only 30 mins long per episode but very watchable.

Just seen an advert for a TV version of Ken Bruce's Popmaster on More4 with the man himself as quizmaster.

Quite pleasant watching the national news this evening with not having the Schofield, Willoughby soap opera making the headlines.

Great for ratings on Good Morning no doubt.

The next clusterfkcu instalment of England’s World Cup campaign is on ITV this evening.
Talisman Captain Bryan Robson’s shoulder popped out again, showing the folly of playing him. Ray Wilkins in frustration at the injury threw the ball in the general direction of the ref & getting sent off for his troubles. England hung on for what proved to be a valuable point.
The injury to Robson & suspension of Wilkins meant Bobby Robson had to change the midfield, it was the catalyst that kickstarted a change in fortune until the team came up against a slippery eel..

The first edition of Crimewatch UK was broadcast on BBC1. It ran for 33 series(322 episodes) until 2017.
Sue Cook was co presenter with Nick Ross until 1995. Jill Dando replaced Cook, with dreadful irony Dando was the subject of a episode after her murder in April 1999.

The programme was experimental with only 3 shows initially commissioned. It was hugely successful with 10m+ audiences in the early series. Publicity the Police could not buy for investigations that had started to fizzle out.
The rogues gallery was always interesting, not master criminals, but there was a good percentage of ’”you’re nicked” for individuals featured.

The drama, FBI is broadcast in many ITV regions. The ABC commissioned the series in 1965. It ran for 9 seasons(241 episodes)

Loosely based on real cases & investigations, FBI Chief J Edgar Hoover(1895-1972) was a consultant for the series. His long time 2nd in command Clyde Tolson(1900-74) vetted every episode. The actors also had background checks to check that there were no criminals, Communists or subversives associated with the show.

Is tomorrow's game on via Virgin in the same way do you know?

Doubt it'll be as good as Wednesday's game. What a cracker that was. Real blood, guts and thunder.

Unlike tomorrow's probably, which I'm expecting to be like watching a game of chess for the most part.
