The latest offering from Amazon Prime's Grand Tour, Called A Scandi Flick. Clarkson, May and Hammond are in the Artic Circle with 3 road version of Rally type cars, Subaru, Mit Evo and Audi RS. As usual a really good jaunt with some funny bits in them, Cracking scenery and an accident that really makes you wince (Not involving Hammond this time) Well worth a watch.

On BBC 2 Arena Cinema which looks at Martin Scorsese’s latest film, New York, New York. around the Stage Musical scene in the big apple. A departure from his usual gritty director style like the hugely successful Taxi Driver(1975)
The film was not to be a great success.

The first episode of the light sitcom Just Good Friends. It would last for 3 series (22 episodes)

Paul Nicholas had already notched up a impressive career in entertainment, perhaps still best known at the time for his pop singles success in 1976..Dancing with the Captain, being one of them. I can still remember watching that on Noel Edmonds Saturday Swap Shop.
He also played Cousin Kevin in the Who musical/dram film Tommy(1975)

Used to like Jan Francis , a very good looking lady. She lives a few miles from here , in one of the adjoining villages at Woodchurch , my daughter teaches at the village school there . Used to help out there myself but never encountered her walking round the village , probably wouldn’t recognise her now!

Another good sitcom written by John Sullivan. There was more than Only Fools and Horses. Citizen Smith before and after Just Good Friends he wrote Dear John and later Roger Roger as well as the spin off OFAH shows.
