In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
I've never really got over the fact that Taggart's Mark McManus and The Sweet's Brian Connolly were half brothers. McManus was also very good in Sam.
Indeed...Another forgotten TV gem.

I don’t think I’ve seen Sam revived on one of the many channels showing old dramas.

And sadly both passed away with similar health issues (Alchohol too)
Yep...A lot of showbiz types from their era were ‘hard living’ in their prime.

The Late Westward TV/TSW Continuity Announcer Ian Sterling also had a role in Sam.

He’s got more lives than a cat 🐱

How he’s still about with the amount of fags he consumes is unreal...He mentioned once that all of the Drs who told him to quit despite being of similar age are all dead !

A old lady I know is 95 & still puffing away around 15 a day..I think if she quit now her body would give up.
With Keith & her it’s a very small minority who dodge serious issues.

I would imagine that defying the medical experts for so long has given him a great deal of Satisfaction.
(Although, if we're talking about Smokies surely only Mr Robinson (currently 82yo) can qualify as the ultimate walking "Miracle?
