Didn't fancy watching Miss Westward '71 then Olds? 🙂
I had forgotten all about Miss Westward,Can’t recall watching that edition.Pretty sure Ian Stirling presented it from the mid 70s on.

My Dad did not like On the Buses or similar(smutty rubbish he said.Though he watches all sorts these days 😁)
When he was home on leave that was not watched. No matter how carp the other channel was !
If he & mum went out on a Friday I would be watching Stan & Jack.

A quick heads up for today(3rd Dec) at 2.30pm on TCM + 1

The Best Years of Our Lives(1946) A superb film about 3 WW2 veterans who return home at the end of the war.

It was the best picture winner in 1946.

On TPTV today(3rd Dec) 6pm.The Stranger(1946) A film Noir starring Edward G Robinson Loretta Young & Orson Welles.

A war crimes investigator tracking a Nazi fugitive in Connecticut.
The war crimes uncovered in Nazi Germany following its defeat were starting to be covered by Hollywood.
This was the first US film to use actual documentary holocaust footage.

Well worth recording.

Superman & Lois, Just watched the first episode of the reboot of the 90's version. This time Clark & Lois are married with two teenage twin boys. This looks like it could be a good series and I'll certainly be watching next week, Oh by the way, Lois is very, very fragrent.
