Travelling to Plymouth away

Possibly Credy, but I think the one that went to Pompey a couple of years ago was 300 ish, and I think if advertised widely there might be enough interest ?

I'd imagine the difference is that i don't believe you can get a direct train from Exeter to Portsmouth whereas direct trains to Plymouth run very frequently.

Good to read all the posts of today's challenges, if it makes people feel any better it could be far worse. Remember the days it was the Saturday boring train from St Davids to Plymouth then the walk of death across central park, round the back of the ground to the open away terrace. If getting in wasn't bad enough getting out, particularly the day Bally masterminded a great win there, was even worse

Love it! For me getting in has never been a problem at all!
My advice, don't wear colours!
Getting out! now there lies the challenge
I always find the car park the most interesting! once your on the road pretty much safe really.

Myself ,my Father -in -law and 2 mates stood in the Devonport End for that game (albeit very quietly ) so the walk out after was pretty easy ,i even stopped to admire a Jack Russell who's not very bright owner had very kindly put Green stripes on his fur and told me he had "trained it " to hate Exeter City fans , what a lovely chap ,i can just picture him teaching it ?

I've Driven in the past and went to uni in Plymouth, id recommend that if you do drive to park in Mutley or near North hill and get the escort back to the train station, its not far a walk and be busy with non match day goers (as long as you don't wear colours you'll be fine).

Who could forget the year we exited via the old Lyndhurst past old zoo corner. They led us through the home terrace, with 2000 plus city celebrating victory. Held in the ground in the home end banter wit the car park was priceless as they battled with the Police. After a while they let us out and we flooded the car park. Happy days

Can anyone else remember a game against argyle in the late 90s when there was a city fan in the away end with a mini chainsaw? Yes you read that right, a mini chainsaw. He hadn't started it up when I saw him, but he was near the back of the terrace, held it up in the air, said "come on city, let's do 'em" and ran towards the fence separating us from zoo corner.

I promise I didn't dream this, it happened.
