For me personally there are still one or two in the "Players Retained" list that don't merit being kept on and do not fill me with over confidence on the 2021/2022 season to come. I won't name names.

Of the players retained, it is a shame McArdle and Atangana have contracts.
And Seymour. But it's possible any or even all of those three could add something meaningful next season. Big Nige was decent in his first season, McArdle got better through last season and has bags of experience and Seymour is still youn enough to be one of those late bloomers, much like Matt Jay. That said, I'm not holding my breath.

A potentially informative and factual thread taken down the crapper by opinions that were better placed elsewhere ! ☹

Also, is this about right? Not 100% on the new pros best positions - unlikely we will see them this season anyway. Obviously some massive gaps. Ordered by 20/21 squad number within position, no other reason!

Looks about right apart from the where does Sparkes play best debate. I think Jack Veale and Jack Arthur are still 18 though.
