Taylor seems to suggest post match that there won’t be lots of changes in the summer because we can’t afford that.... certainly contradicts his comments from a few weeks ago.
So which is it?
Well make up your mind Taylor. You used to be decisive , now you’re not so sure.

As the 2020/21 season is done as far as we are concerned we need a new 2021/22 thread

We still have the opportunity to bring in some real quality he added though.

As long as that "Quality" doesn't come with a sicknote, We need players to play, Not keep the treatment bench warm.

Agree. After the Fisher / Ajose / Seymour powder puff attack we need a serious overhaul. But is Matt the man to do it?

Pace used to be a big part of his game however he will be 32 next October so I'm not sure I'd be taking a risk on him.
But Linford Christie got his pb at 32! ;)

We need 7/8 New signings to improve the quality and depth of the squad .
But now after MT‘s post match u-turn looks like we’re be lucky
if we get 3 or 4.
Not what we wanted to hear after yesterdays match.

How can MT come out and say we are going to have a big budget and then 2 weeks later say we can't afford many signings?

That is rank bad management.

Not a very responsible approach, if one of them gets crocked you're up the swanny. He needs to build a full squad not a five-a-side team.
