Devine was the last out and out goalscorer we had.

Where in the OP does it say they have to score 15-20 a season or be "top quality"

Nowhere. Which is good, as we would find it a struggle to find 10 top quality strikers.

But that isn't the question. The question was what are the best 10 strikers to have played for City in the last 10 years. It doesn't mention that they have to be any good.

P.S. Gary Alexander was the best of an appalling bunch of strikers, but we spent 5 of the last 10 years in the non league, what on earth should we expect?

To many posters watching too much top 4.

somebody who knew where the net was and could find it fairly regulary would of been nice.....still waiting now.

Gary Alexander has gone onto do very well at Millwall , he would walk into Citys side and has over 100 league goals

That is a load of bollinger and you know it, some of us have mentioned Devine, big deal, lots of lower league clubs have strikers who regularly get 15 plus goals each and every season, 15 goals is only one in three, it is hardly prolific.

He says 'STRIKERS'. By definition these are the players who play up front and score lots of goals. They are not target men, a la Flackie, or just plain old forwards, a la Bash. Strikers are in the side to score goals. That is their primary objective. Under that definative we've had three play for us in the period defined and one of them wasn't ours. Devine, Roberts and Alexander (loanee from West Ham United).
